We discuss 10 TV shows like Physical: 100 you must watch. Keep this handy list and add these shows to your watch list.

Netflix has tapped into Korean reality series and they have been doing extremely well on the platform. From dating games to actual physical survival series, they have made sure to bring entertainment.

It is almost similar to Survivorbut there are more contestants. One hundred people test their strengths and abilities through physical trials, and they get picked off one by one to see what they can endure. The idea originally came from Squid Game: The Challenge, and they changed it to format a reality series.

They do win a cash prize at the end and out of one hundred people, it will feel really good to win all that money. There is plenty of Korean series to watch on Netflix, and they have become one of the main platforms for all this programming.

The list below has a mixture of genres and some really interesting storylines to dive into.

10 TV Shows like Physical: 100 you must watch

Running Man (2010)

This is a reality-variety show where the cast must complete missions at various places to win the race. This is quite similar to the Amazing Race, but they aren’t traveling the world to get to their next destination.

Single’s Inferno (2021)

The series follows nine people who co-live on an island and try to find the love of their life. It feels like a mixture of Too Hot To Handle and Bachelor in Paradise but it has different choices for the people on the island which is a bit more interesting than the other two series.

Heart Signal (2017)

Apple TV Plus added Heart Signal to its platform and it is about eight young, single people who have never met before. They are thrown together at Signal House, a place where they must choose a housemate to pair up with. The concept of this series is vastly different than others, as they resort to old-fashioned communication through signals and letters. They have to send anonymous messages and “heart signals” to one another.

Knowing Bros (2015)

This variety show features the main cast acting as students in High School. It’s more of a sketch series than a reality show, but it does have famous Korean actors switch in every episode. They are labeled as the “Transfer Student” so it makes sense in the context of the show to keep switching.

Glitch (2022)

This series is a very strong sci-fi Korean drama that explores alien lifeforms and cults. When Hong Ji Hyo’s boyfriend disappears with an unidentified light, she traces her boyfriend’s whereabouts. She does find a group that studies and tracks UFO sightings, so they help her and they end up uncovering a bigger secret.

All the Butlers (2017)

The workers of the house spend two days and one night in their master’s house and learn their lifestyle. So it shows the workers adapting to the life they wish to live because they do think that the lavish lifestyle is something everyone should at least experience once.

I Live Alone (2013)

This series explores the lives of celebrities through a more candid lens and single people get to tap in and see the truth. It’s like they’re watching their every move instead of what is filtered through social media.

Queendom (2019)

This is a competition show in which six of the top South Korean girl groups compete in a comeback battle, where they will all release a new single on the same day and see who wins on the music charts. This seems like such a fun reality show because it does involve popular girl groups and their stardom relies on the music charts with their fans.

King of Masked Singer (2015)

This is one of the most thrilling South Korean singing competition programs because it hides the contestants so you can only hear their vocals. It’s more elaborate and festive, so even if they have a gimmick their voice shines through more than their appearance. The American version of the show changed the concept, but it is still a top show.

My Little Old Boy (2016)

This series shows the mother’s attachment to their son extremely well. It is a program that enables mothers to monitor their sons’ daily lives and record the moments. Mother’s tend to be more overprotective of their son’s and this show proves the lengths they would go to.
