The Showtime mega-hit Yellowjackets is back for another outing of survivalist drama, cannibalism, occult horror, and murder, as we continue the story of a high-school girls’ soccer team being stranded in the Canadian wilderness. Twenty-five years later, the surviving girls try to get on with their lives while being extorted over what really happened out there in the woods — and trust us, it was nothing good.

Here’s what happened in Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 2:
- The girls decided to cremate Jackie and, smelling the good cooking, all decided to eat her (with the exception of Coach Ben).
- In the present day Lottie gave Nat an extremely unlikely explanation of Travis’s death.
- In the past, Nat faked Javi’s death so that Travis could move on from it.
- Taissa continued to struggle in the present day, imagining Sammy was at her house even though he wasn’t, and then driving Simone straight into an intersection where the car was T-boned on the passenger side.
- Callie was catfished by a detective investigating Adam’s disappearance.
- Misty briefly met a citizen detective named PuttingTheSickInForensics who she’s about to team up with.

Predictions
- Will there be any repercussions, physically, from the girls eating Jackie? She can’t have been fresh. And they ate her clothes!
- Following on from the above, now the girls have a taste for it, they’re going to need some more flesh. And since Coach Ben didn’t participate…
- Is Simone dead? Probably, or at least badly hurt. We’re still waiting on Adult Van’s appearance so this seems like a good way to bring her and Taissa together.
- Callie doesn’t realize she’s giving away her mother’s secrets, but I do wonder how far this whole catfishing thing might go.
