Where was the TV Show Citadel Filmed? We discuss the popular Amazon Prime Video series and the filming locations.

Citadel is a thrilling new science fiction adventure created by Bryan Oh, David Weil, Josh Appelbaum, and the Russo brothers on board as executive producers.

The action centers around two agents of the mysterious agency called Citadel, who discover that their memories have been wiped after a devastating attack on their organization by Manticore.

Effectively, the pair become sleeper agents, living under new identities and unaware of their sci-fi past, but they need to remember the past to save the future.

As that premise will not be enough for an espionage spy thriller series, one of the agents, Mason, is contacted by a former Citadel agent, who tells him that Manticore is back with a new plan. He must find his former colleague Nadia and attempt to stop their plan.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, Ashleigh Cummings, and Osy Ikhile star in the show, and the story flits between the here and now and flashbacks that form the backbone of the story. As well as the set pieces and sci-fi tropes, there are a lot of locations on the show.

This article will remind you where the Amazon Prime Video series Citadel was filmed.

Slovenia

In Central Europe, the globe-trotting production company would arrive in the municipality of Kobarid.

In the background, you can see the stunning Stol Mountain, and by the time they get to the picturesque town of Bovec, you can see the Kanin Mountains behind them too.
