Where is Danielle Miller Now

Where is Danielle Miller Now? We discuss a controversial influencer after the release of Hulu’s The Age of Influencer.

It seems that it would only be a matter of time before a series would appear that would take a closer look at influencers on social media and the nature of the business they conduct.

A trawl through YouTube will often offer up similar work. When it comes to exposing the scams of specific, well-known YouTube celebrities, you will be hard-pressed to find a more in-depth look than the ones presented by Coffeezilla. This hugely popular content creator has uncovered numerous scams involving so-called influencers, including Logan Paul’s crypto zoo campaign.

Perhaps the popularity of creators such as Coffeezilla has prompted more mainstream outlets, such as Hulu, to dip a toe in the influencer pool, and the result is a six-part documentary series called The Age of Influence.

Hulu has released the series and highlighted some of the extraordinary events circling well-known social media influencers over the last few years.

One case highlighted features Danielle Miller, so with the show currently trending, we thought we would help out information-wise and answer the question where is Danielle Miller Now?

Who is Danielle Miller?

Danielle Miller did not fall into a rags-to-riches story as some online influencers like to state. Instead, she grew up in an apartment building close to Central Park in New York and came from a financially successful family. Danielle became known as “Swiffer Girl” after a school incident in 2004 that saw her making explicit videos with a Swiffer mop for a boy she liked were leaked.

The incident would leave an indelible mark on Danielle and perhaps plot a course for her future, and would be cited as one of the first examples of “revenge porn.”

What did Danielle Miller do?

Miller would eventually be arrested for several crimes, including credit card fraud, that initially funded her lifestyle. Miller would have many IDs and driving licenses, complete with matching credit cards. In 2020, Danielle Miller was arrested after she and a friend named Blas had reportedly attempted to illegally withdraw money from a California woman’s bank account.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office would release a statement about this affair, saying

“According to bank personnel, two females, later identified as Danielle Miller and Ciera Blas, presented a passport card belonging to a client in Los Angeles and attempted to make an $8,000 withdrawal. Bank employees were alerted to the possible fraud after being notified earlier in the day by another branch of similar suspicious activity. Deputies quickly responded and conducted a traffic stop on the women’s vehicle.”

This would lead to both parties being sent to prison.

During a stay in prison, she would make the acquaintance of fraudster Anna Delvey, who was no stranger to a criminal lifestyle and who Miller would claim mentored her in jail. Delvey, however, would not mention Miller even after her release in 2021

During the Covid pandemic, Miller would relocate to LA and use fake IDs to claim Covid relief payments. She would also claim fake business loans from the Federal Government, allowing her to continue a spending spree of mammoth proportions.

The confident trickster was eventually indicted in the summer of 2021 on three counts of wire fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft. The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts would report that Miller entered a guilty plea for stealing the identities of more than ten persons to receive $1.5 million in government payments.

Where is Danielle Miller now?

Danielle is currently in jail in Florida and, in 2023, has another sentence pending. The numerous offenses mean that she could face up to twenty years in prison for her scams and cons, but other reports indicate that the disgraced influencer agreed to give up $1.3 million and serve six years in prison in return for pleading guilty.

Her sentencing is scheduled for June 27, 2023.

Who are Danielle Miller’s parents?

Miller’s father was a well-respected estate lawyer and also spent time as the president of the New York State Bar Association. Her mother had been a member of the Rockettes, a professional dance company, for 20 years before leaving to raise Danielle and her brother in their New York home.
