Cinderella Phenomenon is a visual novel that follows Crown Princess Lucette of Angielle, who is struggling to come to terms with her new life and step-family four years on from the Great War and the loss of her mother. But her life is ruined once again by the Fairytale Curse, and she’s forced to battle to regain her crown and rebuild her kingdom.

Unfortunately for her, this isn’t the French bistro in the UK that gamers might be familiar with, but instead a haunted nightmare. As she delves deeper into the cafe, she becomes tangled in mystery, hoping she might find a friend to help her out.

Café Enchanté (2019)

If the haunted Café Rouge is somewhere players want to avoid, they might instead visit Café Enchanté. Players control Kotone, who inherits her grandfather’s Tokyo Café, only to find out it’s actually a meeting spot for many mystical beings from different worlds. They’ll meet King of demons, a humanoid beast, a Fallen angel, and more.

Taisho x Alice (2019)

Taisho x Alice is a visual novel where players must save Prince Charming to get their very own happy ending. They’ll take on the role of a fairytale heroine to try and rehabilitate their chosen love interest and guide him to his very own happily ever after. Players will encounter many gender-flipped characters from fairytales like Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood, and more.

Princess Battles (2012)

Princess Battles is a game where players get to live out their very own fairytale, set in a castle they can roam around and find a princess to romance. There is also turn-based card combat in the game, where players can build their own decks to win fights.

Nameless: The One Thing You Must Recall (2013)

Nameless: The One Thing You Must Recall follows Eri after her grandpa’s death, as she tries to overcome her loss. She has a collection of ball-jointed dolls who she loves like real family, but who she, unfortunately, can’t talk to because they’re dolls. One morning Eri walks up and finds her dolls have come to life.

Collar × Malice (2016)

Set in the Japanese city of Shinjuku, a shadowy organization launches a brutal campaign of fear and violence, driving society to the brink of chaos. Players play as a young police officer who has to bring order back to the city, but becomes the target of an attack and now has to wear a poisonous collar. Five unknown strangers appear to help the player and aid them in their quest.

The Confines Of The Crown (2015)

The Confines Of The Crown has players take the role of Madeleine Valois, who is the prince’s companion. Her job is to keep him out of trouble, avoid political debacles, stop him from being arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, and prevent him from falling in love with her. Unfortunately, things don’t go to plan, with a game full of romance and royal intrigue.
