I almost hear the pitch meeting for the Netflix reality survival game show Siren: Survive the Island.
“So you have a new reality survival game show for me.”

You get the idea with that, then, and the South Korean Netflix series did get some good reviews, including one on Ready Steady Cut.
Over the course of a week, the teams had to compete against each other in Base Battles that occurred every time a siren went off, as well as other gruelling challenges and quite a lot of sitting around and talking in whispers.
At the time of writing, a second season of the show has not been announced.

The team leader was Kim Hee-jeong, and the sports professional is a national kabaddi player representing South Korea in the sport.

You get points for tagging players in the other team and stopping the tagger, known as a raider.
Who were in Team Athletes?
The team comprised Kim Hee-jeong, Kim Seong-yeon, Kim Min-sun and Kim Eunbyul.
Kim Seong-yeon is a former competitor in judo who achieved some great success in her chosen sport, becoming an Olympian and winning multiple medals.
Kim Min-sun is a rock climber who uses her strength and courage during the show.
Kim Eunbyul is a sirrum wrestler. Sirrum wrestling is a traditional Korean sport with two competitors struggling to push each other to the floor with a length of fabric attached to the waist and legs.
