Joe Pickett Season 2 Episode 4 Recap

Joe arrives at Sheridan’s school to talk to the counselor about her. He tells her about the attack where Sheridan saw Klamath’s crew beat him down. While she tells Joe that Sheridan will be fine, she’s worried about Joe and starts to break him down to the point where he snaps at her about being just fine.

Who is Buck Lothar?

Buck Lothar is the host of the Buck Talk radio show and has been hired by the Governor to help the city hunt down the killer hunting hunters. Joe and Luke have been put in charge of driving him around the city.

What evidence does Buck find in the woods?

Buck visits the crime scene and renders it useless because of the number of people who have stepped around it. He breaks down how they need to find out where Frank was shot. As they wander the woods, Buck finds foot-dragging prints resembling a body dragged through them.

At Sheridan’s school, one of the teachers brought in a special guest to talk to them. She brings in Klamath to talk to the kids. Of course, as he talks, Sheridan speaks up, saying that hunters treat the animals with care and says he has never hunted. He mentions that his uncle forced him to hunt and that he is an expert. Sheridan stands up, looks him in the eye, and says, “What you are, is an asshole.”

Joe gets a call from the school about Sheridan bullying someone. He arrives, and the teacher tells him that it was Klamath, to which he responds that he will get Sheridan ice cream. When they got home, Marybeth saw Sheridan had ice cream, and Joe explained why. He also tells her that he is seeing someone, a therapist, to work on himself (we know that’s a lie).

Nate arrives at a friend’s house who needs help, he heads in, and both men kill three guys inside his house. He later heads to Crickett’s to tell her he can no longer see her. However, one of the henchmen of the guy trying to kill Nate arrives at her front door, and Nate kills him. They hop in a car together, and Nate explains that they are in this together.

Who shot Buck Lathar?

Joe and Buck navigate the woods and realize tracks that might lead them to the killer. They split up, and Joe begins to have a panic attack. While someone in the woods confronts Buck, gunshots ensue, and Buck goes down. Joe regroups and heads over to see what went down, and out from the darkness, we see it was Chris who had shot Buck.

Joe Pickett Season 2 Episode 4 Ending Explained

Who dies at the end of “Buck Wild”?

Early in the episode, Joe cuffed Wally up in the car as he was being a nuisance and told Luke to watch over him. Wally got impatient, took Luke’s gun, and told him to uncuff him from the truck. While this is happening, we see a man (the killer) stand in front of the truck with a sniper rifle and take two shots, first hitting Wally and second hitting Luke. We see that Wally is dead while Luke is grasping for his life. Joe arrives and sees that Wally has a poker chip in his hands.
