Heartstopper continues to pull at our heartstrings with an emotional episode that sets us up perfectly for the final two episodes of the season.

The final days in Paris have arrived for the kids on Heartstopper Season 2. Nick and Charlie meet Nick’s father, but things go south quickly, and Nick continues to struggle to come out to anyone while two new people kiss at Tara’s birthday party.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
We pick up right where we left off in Episode 5 with Nick and Charlie on their way to meet his dad. When Nick goes to introduce Charlie, his words sputter, so Charlie introduces himself. Stephane gets a phone call mid-meeting and says sorry to bail, but he has to go. Before he leaves, he tells him that he is coming to England, followed by saying to keep up with rugby and that the girls love it.
Tao and Elle return to their rooms to tell their friends they kissed. Everyone is so excited for them. As a result, the guys text the girls to hang out with them. Everyone breaks off with Tao and Elle kissing, followed by Charlie and Nick doing the same.
Who kisses in “Truth/Dare”?
Darcy has been lacking in the girlfriend department, so she throws Tara a massive birthday party in their room. While everything seems busy, James leaves the party for some peace when Isaac comes out to join him. Isaac mentions that he had a crush on James and leans in. They kiss. However, James reacts awkwardly, gets up, and walks back into the party.
How does Nick finally come out about him and Charlie?
The party quickly goes south when they begin to play Truth/Dare. When Charlie gets a dare, someone dares him to kiss Ben, but he refuses and leaves the party. So, Charlie asks if he can get a Truth, and someone asks who gave him the hickey. It gets awkward momentarily, and Nick says that he did it and that he and Charlie are dating.
Everyone congratulates them, but Darcy gets super sick, and the students have to tell the teachers. Of course, the kids tell them she has food poisoning, and Darcy pukes all over the bed.
Nick and Charlie are talking, and Charlie is super happy about him coming out to everyone. Although Nick is happy, he is super nervous about the entire school knowing about it. With Isaac and Tao not sleeping in the room tonight, the duo says they can sleep in the same bed. The two begin to make out, but Nick gets slightly freaked out by anything more happening.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 6 Ending Explained
Darcy and Tara are sitting down together when Darcy apologizes for ruining her birthday. She tells her that she didn’t ruin the party, and Darcy tells Tara that she loves her too. In the teacher’s room, Mr. Farouk and Mr. Ajayi finally give in to the temptation and kiss.
The episode ends with us seeing the kids on the bus when Charlie sees on Instagram someone commented on Nick’s picture of the two of them, asking if they were dating.
