Alexee Trevizo is a 19-year-old girl from Artesia, New Mexico, U.S.A. She is accused of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. It is alleged that on January 19, 2023, Alexee locked herself in a hospital bathroom at the Artesia General Hospital for roughly 19 minutes, gave birth, and put the baby boy in a bin.
When she was discovered by hospital workers, she was covered in blood. The staff briefly thought she had harmed herself but eventually found the baby dead in the bin. This likely confused hospital workers as she had told nursing staff after she was admitted to the hospital that she wasn’t pregnant, had regular periods, and wasn’t sexually active, but later lab tests confirmed she was pregnant.
Her classmates spoke to the Daily Mail about the incident, telling them that Alexee had repeatedly denied she was pregnant, and said that birth control pills had caused her to gain weight.
“When news broke of a dead newborn several people at Artesia High School said it was Alexee’s baby,” one of Alexee’s friends said.
“A few weeks later, Alexee and her boyfriend Devyn [Fierro] returned to school, there were whispers about what had happened, but no one knew anything for certain,” the friend continued.
“Alexee and Devyn came back to school and acted like nothing was wrong,” the former classmate added. “They didn’t even tell anyone why they had been away, nor did anyone ask.”

Who are Alexee Trevizo’s parents?
At this time, the names of Alexee Trevizo’s parents haven’t officially been disclosed to the media. It has however been reported that Alexee Trevizo had a confrontation with her mother, Rosa Rodriguez, at the hospital.
In a recorded video, a doctor wearing a white lab coat is seen talking about the situation with an officer, Alexee Trevizo, and her mum. Trevizo is lying down on a hospital bed and tearfully apologizes to her mother, who is sitting at the end of her bed.
However, it has been reported that Trevizo’s mother had a confrontation with her daughter at the hospital. “It came out of me. I put it in the bag. In the trash bag. I’m sorry, mom,” she said.
What was the verdict in Alexee Trevizo’s trial?
At the time of writing, Alexee Trezio’s trial has yet to take place, which means a guilty or non-guilty verdict hasn’t been returned by the jury yet. Her trial will take place on October 2.
