The reality dating show format continues to evolve.
There is still an audience for shows that try to match people up, but the problem seems to be finding a unique way to present the format that is different enough to appeal and unique enough to keep viewers coming back.
Gone are the days when it was enough to watch couples go on dates. Now, there has to be some element of mystery and danger attached to a show to get people to tune in.
The latest in a long line of valiant attempts at finding a huge dating hit comes in the form of Is She the Wolf? This Japanese show sounds more like a Duran Duran song than a reality dating competition, but you have to admit the premise is interesting.

Five couples are involved in this game and are encouraged to get to know each other throughout the process in the hope that true love will be found; however, there is a twist.
In true Japanese game show fashion, one, or possibly even more than one, of the female participants is a wolf, and that means they are not allowed to fall in love and have to hide their status from the others, resulting in elaborate lies and games being played to conceal their true identity.
Now, the show may be new to us, but it has already been running for a long time in Japan. The format has been given a polish and presented to us through Netflix, hoping to attract an audience the way it has in Japan.
Whether or not the show will be a hit worldwide has yet to be ascertained, but in the meantime, viewers have slowly become invested in the couples involved.
If you have been watching, here is a short companion piece to the show that answers the question: Are Julie and Robin from Is She the Wolf together?
Julie and Robin’s relationship journey on Is She the Wolf?
It seemed that there was an attraction between Julie and Robin early in the process. The couple seemed happy to get together, and there was apparently an instant attraction.
Of course, it would be revealed that Julie was a wolf; typically, she had already developed a genuine affection for Robin. The rules meant that she could not have real feelings for Robin, which was tested when another participant requested a date with Robin.

Julie became jealous over the date, and the attention Robin was receiving, and it was not long before he noticed this. In the mid-season confession, she would open up to Robin.
Robin also expressed his interest in her but was not wholly committed to the relationship. Julie would retaliate, asking Masaki on a date, and the date would go ahead with nobody else crashing it.
The drama would increase as the situation continued to twist and turn, and Julie would become angst-ridden throughout the process. In the final confession, Robin chooses Julie, and in a moment of heartbreak, she releases her balloon, revealing she is a wolf, and walks silently away.
Robin would embrace her and kiss in a final poignant moment.
Are Julie and Robin from Is She the Wolf together?
There has been no official confirmation that the couple are still together. Although they still follow each other on social media, nothing states they are a couple.
Fans were heartbroken with the revelation at the end of the show, and they no doubt hope that the couple will reunite at some point in real life.
Was Julie the Wolf in Is She the Wolf?
Julie was indeed a wolf, which was made apparent in the final scene, with her releasing the balloon.
Julie played her part so well even through she really love tobin her true feeling s my one out in the song I really hope they get together in real life great chemistry please keep me Ostend how they are roing
Love this show! If they decide to date, would there be a waiting period after the show when they could?
Julie obviously fell in love with Robin and he did with Julie, I think the show was Cruel. The show should have said to Julie you are not the wolf and we will let you be a normal contestant. I think the creator of the show should be ashamed of themselves for doing that. You are hurting peoples feelings, shame on you
I thought Julie was wonderful, so heartfelt — when she tried to distance herself from Robin in the middle episodes, knowing she didn’t want to hurt him — and ended up hurting herself. I’d love to see them as a couple at some point.
I think we should all know if Julie and Robin are together we were all I vested
I really hope they could get together!!! Awesome chemistry!! I love this show!!! I hope Netflix can continue this series!!!!
