Dear Child is a German crime drama on Netflix based on the book by Romy Hausmann that tells the story of a woman who has spent 13 years as the prisoner of a sadist. She has also been forced to play the role of another kidnapped woman and raise her two children, Hannah and Jonathan, in strict isolation.
