Who is Bryce Laspisa, and how long has he been missing?
Bryce is the son of Karen and Michael Laspisa. The couple had retired early and moved to California, and Bryce was their only son. Bryce was preparing to attend Sierra College and moved to Chico, around ninety miles outside Sacramento.
Bryce was interested in art and was going to study graphic and industrial design in his freshman year.
While at college, he would become close friends with his roommate Sean and begin dating another student called Kim. Bryce was considered a popular student who had no problems making friends.
On the 30th of August 2013, California Highway Patrol Officers found Bryce’s car. It had been crashed and left at the bottom of an embankment, but there was no sign of Bryce.

A decade after his disappearance, Bryce has never been found. Despite an initial search that would see all avenues looked at, including dredging the Castaik Lake, there has been no trace of Bryce at all.
When he went missing, the nineteen-year-old was on his way to his parents’ house in Laguna Niguel, California.
His mother would receive a phone call from Bryce at 2 am. He said he was pulling off Interstate Five in the Sierra Pelona Mountains, which would be the last time his parents would hear from him.

Over the years, a couple of instances were looked at in relation to Bryce. In September 2013, authorities would investigate the charred remains of a human body found near Castaic Lake. It would be confirmed they were not Bryce. A skull would also be found in the area four years later, but once again, tests would confirm that it was not Bryce.
It seems that Bryce has disappeared; sadly, there have been no updates on the case in recent years. Bryce has become another statistic, a lost soul that has vanished with no clue where he could be.
