There does seem to be a gap in the market just now for a UK-based young adult comedy-drama now that Sex Education and Heartstopper have wrapped their current runs up — it seems that Everything Now from Netflix may be the answer: this article delves into the production of the series, so without further ado, here’s our guide to where Everything Now was filmed.

The show was created by twenty-two-year-old Ripley Parker and explores the environment inhabited by London teenager Mia. Mia is played by Sophie Wilde, whom many of you will know from the recent horror movie Talk to Me, which had a theatrical release in September 2023.

Mia is in recovery after an eating disorder took her off the grid for seven months, but her friends seem to have all moved on and are seemingly having the time of their lives, while Mia feels she has stalled.

In an attempt to rebuild her life, she forms a list of experiences for herself, a kind of bucket list, chasing her friends’ lifestyles, but is this really the answer?

London, UK

The show is set in London, and the production company was able to film the show there too. London is the UK equivalent of New York in the US and has been used in more films and TV series than you could list.

London is so vast that you can find everything you need here, from epic landmarks such as the Thames River and Big Ben to the dark alleys and magnificent architecture perfect for period dramas.

For a smaller production that is more grounded in real life, like Everything Now, small suburban locations were utilized, as well as studio-bound sets.

Map Gift Shop, London

This small business is located at 93 Junction Road London and would post on their Instagram page when they noticed their shop was featured in the trailer for the series.

Primrose Hill, London

Other posts on Instagram would also confirm that some filming took place at Primrose Hill, too. Primrose Hill is a Grade II listed public park located north of Regent’s Park in London.

It opened to the public in 1842 and was named after the 64-meter natural hill in the center of the park, the second-highest natural point in the London Borough of Camden.

London North Studio Mill Hill, London

This incredible studio seems to have housed some of the sets for the series, most notably the fictional school used in the show Westmere School.

The studio itself is a massive facility with seven separate studios that can accommodate all sizes of productions, from TV shows to blockbuster films, so it would be an obvious venue for the show to utilize.
