“Goldbug” is all about Tammy. The Usher sibling is introduced, preparing for her launch party. She’s practically falling asleep stood up though, whilst losing time and becoming terribly forgetful. This could be a side effect of her sleep-deprived state or all Verna’s doing, or maybe a bit of both. The mystery woman haunts Tammy’s apartment. Tammy feels like she’s losing it and takes sleeping pills to battle this illness.

In the present, Auggie questions Roderick’s stories. He doesn’t know how Roderick is getting all of this personal information. Roderick admits that he isn’t just seeing the dead; they are also communicating with him too. He confesses that they are telling him these facts; they want their stories to be told accurately.

Back in the main timeline, Roderick is talking with the dead again. He’s covered in blood after Victorine’s suicide. Madeline comes to comfort her brother. Arthur follows this lead, but it takes him to Roderick and Madeline’s childhood home. The attorney is certain that this is all intentional now. Verna is playing games. Auggie asks if Arthur ever found Verna. Roderick confirms that he did, but not that day. Then Roderick is haunted by Tammy’s ghost, which includes the biggest scare from the series so far.
