Yoh! Christmas is a South African romantic comedy set around the festive season that follows thirty-year-old Thando, single and under pressure from her family to find a partner and settle down. Thando eventually announces that she has found someone, but it is a lie that she then has to back up, and with twenty-four days to the holiday get-together, she has to find someone quickly. The show is a remake of the Norwegian series Home For Christmas, which would also go on to be remade in Italy. Since there’s clearly mileage in the premise itself, is their scope for a potential Season 2? Here’s everything we know.
Has Netflix Renewed Yoh! Christmas for Season 2?

At the time of writing, there is no news on a second season of the show. However, it is early days, and you know that Netflix has to collect all the relevant data before even considering another run, so in the meantime, we can only speculate about plans for the show.
How Did Yoh! Christmas Season 1 end?
By the end of Season 1, the drama has ramped up, and Thando has had many unfortunate dates and encounters as she tries to find a partner for the holidays. However, waiting on the sidelines is work colleague Ben, who eventually confesses his love for Thando, saying she is perfect and beautiful. However, the conversation is abruptly ended when a medical emergency, a code blue, at the hospital intervenes.
Thando also makes peace with her father, after she finds out that he has been having an affair. Charles also moves on, leaving a note for Thando that says, “Find your free”. Thando brings patient Lulu to the family Christmas party, as well as Bheki and Riri, before revealing she has no boyfriend.
By the end of the series, it appears that Thando has realized that the secret to happiness may be to love yourself, providing a sort of closure to her character’s arc. However, in a last-minute scene, the doorbell rings. As Thando answers the door she is shocked by who is there, but as viewers we never get to see who it is, leaving the ending open for a second season.

What Can We Expect from Yoh! Christmas Season 2?
If we manage to get another season of the show, you can expect more trials and tribulations for Thando, and her family and friends. With the show following the plot beats of the original Norwegian series Home For Christmas, there is always a chance that a second season of YOH! Christmas will continue by adapting the second season of that show.
If a second season is made, expect Thando to find an unexpected boyfriend, but the path of true love never runs smooth, so possible heartache could be around the corner, and Thando may find herself in a similar position to the one she was in during the first season. We imagine she may encounter some of her previous love interests too.
This is of course guesswork at this point, but whatever the choice, you can be sure that we would once again follow the ups and downs of Thando.
