The end of an era is upon us with the final season of the Hulu series LetterkennyCreator, writer, and star of the series Jared Keeso brought us into the small town in Ontario and provided us with laughs for over twelve seasons. We’ve seen the crew battle, overcome, and fight their way through each season. Although Letterkenny is coming to an end and there will be no Season 13, we do have some updated information about the future of the franchise and its characters.

As with any show that has been around for over ten seasons, there are some highs and lows. With Letterkenny, some seasons were great, and some were just good, but either way, there hasn’t been an outright bad outing. Season 12 goes out with a bang, with a huge battle between Wayne and the Degens that is topped off with a fun party to end it all. I loved this season quite a bit.

Has Letterkenny been renewed for Season 13?

Official Renewal Status: Canceled

Letterkenny is ending after Season 12.

Letterkenny’s time has officially come to an end with its 12th and final season. However, Jared Keeso has signed a new contract with streaming service Crave (to which Hulu has the U.S. rights) to expand the Letterkenny universe with spinoffs, including more episodes of Shoresy and new series in the coming years.

This means Keeso and his team could develop shows on any of the characters on the show. I would love to see a show based on the Degens or one based on Stewart and Roald flourishing as new superstars in a post-Letterkenny world.

Either way, we can expect more laughs from Jared Keeso and our friends in Ontario soon.

How has Letterkenny Season 12 performed?

Over the last few seasons, Letterkenny has seen audience scores go high and low on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 8 finished with an 89% rating, but Seasons 9 and 10 dipped to series lows of 69%/68%, respectively. These were two of the lowest-rated seasons of the show, but it found a massive bounce back with Season 11 as it hit 88%. The entire series sits with an 87% rating with audiences.

With the series wrapping up after this season, the rating of the series doesn’t matter much, but I do think this season will end on a high note with audiences.
