We get the origin story of the worm, but after it awakens from the dead, it begins to terrorize the galaxy. The future timeline doesn’t look good, as the group of doctors projected the worms could take over the world. As a result, they are potentially talking about utilizing Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak to alter the timeline to save the world.
Do Sleech and Klak get out of lock-up?
Because of the worm going rogue, Sleech and Klak have been locked up. Although the doctors decided they would let them go, Klak and Sleech are tired of waiting so they use arms to block the lasers and escape out of the window.
We move to the worm, which has grown to a massive size and continues to wreak havoc on the galaxy. Sleech and Klak head to the bunker but don’t receive a warm welcome. With things unraveling, they ask everyone for their help.
What is Sleech and Klak’s plan for the worm?
They reveal they plan to pursue two options. First, a humane trap geared toward turning the worm into medicine. The second is turning it into a death weapon, where it will turn into dust and sadness. Everyone is more excited about option two.

The crew works together and corners the worm. After everyone traps it, Sleech shoots the mini worm into the giant worm, which will help take it down. However, the plan doesn’t go as expected, with the worm eating both doctors shortly after the shot.
What do Klak and Sleech find in the worm?
While trapped inside the worm, Klak and Sleech fight because they don’t listen to each other on what they should’ve been doing. Sleech falls into the worm’s liquids. This helps them figure out that he has hyperinsulinemia. He gorged himself to the point where it was hurting him. It helped them figure out what was happening with another one of their patients.
How does The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy Season 1 end?
After breaking out of the giant worm, Klak and Sleech want to save the smaller worm but face many obstacles. The GHU sent some people to stop the doctors and collect the worm for themselves. Dr. Azel helps them get out of Dodge, and finally, the duo is able to perform the surgery on the worm and save its life.
We move to a month later, where Klak and Sleech awaken in a facility where they’ve time-traveled. It’s revealed Klak’s plan to have the worm help with anxiety worked, leading to her and Sleech getting the grant they wanted.
