However, Wilde will undoubtedly still have a bone to pick with Dick Turpin for not only stealing his gold but costing him his spot in the hierarchy. The big question is how he will do it without triggering the alarm for Lady Helen. I predict we see Wilde attempt to join the Essex Gang with the possibility of taking it down from within.
What’s ahead for Dick Turpin in Episode 4?
With the Essex Gang firing on all cylinders in the latest crime caper, the crew is finding themselves moving up the Highwayman Charts. So far, we’ve seen The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin follow the actual events of the real Dick Turpin’s life. With three episodes remaining, the story of Dick could see him split with the Essex Gang if it follows Turpin’s real life. Once a bounty was put on his head, Turpin split with his fellow highwaymen (it was one, not a group like the series) and left for the Netherlands.
Can the Essex Gang make it to number one on the Highwayman Charts?
The Essex Gang has seen much success since Turpin took over as leader. The group went from the bottom of the barrel to the middle of the pack. Turpin has his sights set on the top spot, but could he lead his team into trouble because of this? I see Turpin ramping up the stakes in an attempt to make it to number one on the charts.
Will Lady Helen go after Dick?
Even with Lady Helen throwing Jonathan Wilde out of the way, I don’t expect her to sit back and let Dick Turpin get away with stealing her gold. I do predict that this could go one of two ways. First, Lady Helen could reach out to Dick to see if he wants to work with her, and how that goes determines her next moves. So either Dick accepts, or he gets on her bad side, and she tries to take him down.
