Constellation Season 1 Finale Preview: What's in Store In Episode 8?

The tangled web of Constellation has us continuously guessing as we head into Episode 8, which debuts on March 27. The season finale looks to clarify which of the stories we’ve been following all season are real and which are made up. With Jo possibly getting clarity about her life in Episode 7, heading into the finale, we have quite a few theories of what might happen.

What will Constellation Episode 8 be about?

In the season finale, Jo is taken to an astronaut rehabilitation clinic, where the truth is revealed about everything that happened.

Which Alice is real?

The two Alice’s finally came together in the previous episode and confronted the idea of who one another was. You have English-speaking Alice and Swedish-speaking Alice. The question that arose was which of them was in modern reality and which wasn’t. The way it looked was the Swedish-speaking Alice was the one in reality and stuck with the “new” Jo.

Of course, we saw her in the hospital at the end of the episode with her father, Magnus, asking questions about where her mother would go. The big question is, will any alternate reality come to fruition for anyone other than Jo? In the snow, Magnus saw other bodies (the other Jo and Alice), and because of that, I expect Magnus to begin to believe Jo.

Will Jo stay locked up?

Magnus, Frederick, and the cops arrived at the cabin to find Jo and Alice in the middle of the snow, and Alice passed out. Because she took Alice and the Datacore, we discovered Jo had been sent to Irena Lysenko to get help for her. Throughout the show, Jo uncovers many facts about the ISS and NASA’s post-space travel, including how they feed them drugs, especially those who see things they may not want to be revealed.

I predict we see Magnus start questioning the people in charge at NASA and ISS in defense of Jo. As he begins to ask more questions, we will see Magnus potentially end up in trouble, but this is where Henry steps in to rectify the truth.

What happens with Henry Caldera?

Bud, Henry, whatever you want to call him, has been just as “crazy” as Jo throughout the season. But with Jo stealing the Data Core along with Alice, we saw him arrive on the scene to retrieve it from her. This is where Henry goes to talk to Jo about the Data Core, and she reveals how you can use it.

With Henry having dealt with much of what Jo went through post-space travels, I predict we see him revealing the truth of the tapes to the world. This will lead to a big exposé of the ISS program and show that Jo and many astronauts before her were drugged to keep the truth hidden.
