How does the Essex Gang adapt to Silverside being in charge?
In the synopsis, we see that Silverside rules with the iron thumb. I can expect this to lead to some dysfunction within the Essex Gang. Nell, Honesty, and Moose will struggle with Silverside’s rules and attempt to figure out how to break out Turpin.
How will Dick Turpin break out?
Lady Helen is ruling with an iron fist, and we know her headquarters isn’t easy to break out of. Dick Turpin is stuck, and he isn’t going to stand around and let Hempstead be taken over by Silversides. I foresee him using his charm to win over some of the guards in his first attempt to break out. Ultimately, the Essex Gang utilizes Nell’s relationship with her mother to break Turpin out.
Of course, Dick is going to be broken out, but the thing we will all be looking forward to is the showdown with Tommy Silversides. He has met his match in wits, charm, and hair. So he will have his hands full against Silversides, but Turpin will find a way to take out Silversides. The big question will be, at what cost?
Will Jonathan Wilde return?
One theory about the finale is we see Jonathan Wilde return and help Turpin. Of course, Lady Helen banished Wilde from committing any crimes in the city, and he hasn’t been around since. What better way to get revenge against Lady Helen than break Dick Turpin out of her prison?
