Physical: 100 Season 2 takes one hundred of Korea’s most impressive physical specimens and pits them head-to-head in a variety of grueling challenges. That’s a lot of contestants to keep track of, and every episode ends on a cliffhanger, with the show’s quests and missions often spreading across multiple episodes. To make things easy, I’ve kept track of all the results in each event of Physical: 100 Season 2, so you can follow the winners as they progress through the show in the hopes of proving which physique is superior.

After nine episodes and five grueling quests, Amotti became the ultimate winner of Physical: 100 Season 2.

Quest 0

As in Physical: 100 Season 1, the pre-quest doesn’t result in any eliminations. However, the winner is given a unique advantage which will be helpful to them in upcoming quests. The event involves all of the contestants, who must run on manual treadmills. It’s divided into three rounds. The first round lasted for 10 minutes, and the 50 contestants who covered the least amount of total distance were ineligible for the next round.

Round 2 of Quest 0 lasted for seven minutes, with the exact same premise. This time, the bottom 40 were eliminated, leaving only ten remaining to compete in the final round.

Quest 1

Physical: 100 Season 2 Quest 1

Quest 1 — A one-on-one deathmatch in three different arenas.

The first proper quest in Physical: 100 Season 2 returns from the first season. It’s a one-on-one deathmatch where two players compete for control of a ball. Whoever is holding the ball when the time runs out wins. Whereas there were only two arenas before, now there are three. Arena A is reminiscent of the playground-themed one from the first season. Arena B is a water-centric setting, and Arena C is styled after an MMA cage.

Since Hong Beom-seok won Quest 0, he was able to get the first pick of his opponent and the arena. The losers had to smash up their torso mold with a hammer.

Quest 2

Quest 2 in Physical: 100 Season 2

Quest 2 — A maze-based conquest fought between teams.

Quest 2 is a maze conquest. The idea is to take supplies from the middle of the maze and load them into scales at the three capture zones. The team that loads the most weight into the scales wins that zone. However, the whole thing is complicated by heavier supplies hidden throughout the maze and the fact that when the scales activate, the teams can interfere with each other’s supplies and progress.

This is a team-based quest. The surviving fifty players vote for ten players to become leaders, and then the leaders pick four other players to form their teams. After that, the teams pick their opposition in the maze. Two teams compete at once.

Quest 2.5

Quest 2.5 Results in Physical: 100 Season 2

Quest 2.5 — A musical chairs-style survival round for the losers of the previous quest

As in the first season, the first team-based game is followed by Quest 2.5, which represents an opportunity for some of the eliminated contestants to get back in the game. Once again evoking MMA imagery, the game takes place in a giant octagon featuring a ring of pillars. The objective is to “secure” one of the pillars by grabbing and holding onto it. When time runs out, anyone who hasn’t secured a pillar is eliminated.

The game takes place across three elimination rounds. Here are the results:

  • Round 1 Winners: Kim Min-su, Jung Ji-hyun, Kim Amugae, Lee Jun-ha, Ha Moo-kyoung, Jang Jun-hyuk, Kim Jee-hyuk, Amotti, Lee Jang-kun, and Kim Hyeong-kyu
  • Round 2 Winners: Kim Min-suJung Ji-hyunKim Jee-hyukJang Jun-hyukLee Jang-kun
  • Round 3 Winners: Jang Jun-hyuk and Jung Ji-hyun

This meant a final decider between Jang Jun-hyuk and Jung Ji-hyun. The winner was able to pick four other eliminated contestants to rejoin the game as a new team.

Quest 2.5 Winner (And Team)

Jung Ji-hyun (Amotti, Lee Jang-kun, Kim Jee-hyuk, Kim Min-su).

Quest 3

Quest 3 Results in Physical 100: Season 2

Quest 3 — A mine-inspired test of strength and cardio

Physical: 100 Season 2 was filmed in a set designed to resemble a giant mine, and we see the fruits of that labor in Quest 3, another team-based test of strength and endurance.

This a delegate team game, with two groups of three teams (so 15 vs 15) competing across four rounds to transport 1.2 tons of cargo. Scoring works on a points-based system, with the winner of each round receiving 3 points, the runners-up receiving 2, and the losers receiving 1. At the end of the fourth round, the lowest-scoring team is eliminated.

Group 1 Winners

Jung Ji-hyun’s newly formed team dominated Group 1, winning all the rounds. That left Andre Jin’s team in second place, meaning Lee Won-hee’s team was eliminated.

  • Jung Ji-hyun
  • Amotti
  • Lee Jang-kun
  • Kim Jee-hyuk
  • Kim Min-su
  • Andre Jin
  • Chan Yong-heung
  • Park Woo-jin
  • Power Who Yami
  • Jung You-in

Group 2 Winners

  • Hong Beom-Seok
  • Gibson
  • Kang Cheong-Myeong
  • Seol Young-Ho
  • Park Ha-Yan
  • Lee Jae-Yoon
  • Jo Sung-Bin
  • Lee Hyun-Jeong
  • Justin Harvey
  • Joo Min-Hyung

Quest 4

Physical: 100 Season 2 Quest 4 Results

Quest 4 – Another test of physical strength and endurance

After a protein-rich meal that felt to some of the contestants like the last supper, the remaining twenty athletes proceeded to Quest 4. This grueling penultimate challenge consisted of dragging giant 150kg rollers back to the starting point. There were two rollers to move, after which contestants returned to the start line.

To up the drama, this was an intra-team challenge, meaning that the established teams took on each other rather than other teams. Notably, Andre Jin’s team member Chang Yong-Heung dropped out of the competition to captain his rugby team in the Asian Games, so Jin’s team competed with just four contestants instead of five.

Quest 4 Winners

  • Hong Beom Seok
  • Justin Harvey
  • Andre Jin
  • Amotti

Quest 5

Physical: 100 Season 2 Quest 5 Results and Season 2 Winner

Quest 5 — A final three-round battle to determine a winner

The final quest comprised three rounds meant to whittle down the final four contestants to one ultimate winner.

Round 1

In the first round, the contestants had to hold up their model torso (accounting for around 40% of their respective body weight). The first person to drop the torso was eliminated and would not move onto the next round.

Eliminated: Justin Harvey

Round 2

In the second round, players were tasked with squatting a container filled with rocks. The first person to be unable to complete any more reps was eliminated.

Eliminated: Andre Jin

Round 3

The third and final round saw the final two competitors pushing each side of a pole in order to knock over a post. The winner would be whoever won this round twice.

Eliminated: Hong Beom-seok

Amotti Is The Ultimate Winner in Physical: 100 Season 2

For the second season in a row, a CrossFitter walked away with the grand cash prize of 300 million KRW and the credit of having the most ideal physique. Presumably will be taking up the hobby in droves after this.

Amotti made sure to thank to his fellow contestants and said of his victory:

“Ever since I chose to come here and give Physical: 100 a go, my goal was to be my absolute best and to do so in every moment so I wouldn’t leave with any regrets.”
