The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin Ending Explained

Tommy Silversides is telling the tale of Dick Turpin to the crowd, making up that he hated women and children while he is standing on top of Moose and Honesty.

Moose, Nell, and Honesty are struggling with their new uniforms, bringing it up to Tommy. Of course, he doesn’t care and says they are here to play the roles he assigned them. Moose is the violent heavy, Honesty is the brainless psychopath, and Nell is the woman.

Robbing The Ruin

Tommy wants the crew to rob The Ruin, the local bar, and Nell fights back, saying they shouldn’t because it’s the only good place in town. However, Tommy said he is the leader, and if she has any problems with the plan, she needs to take it up with her mom. She confronts her mother, who says they can move on to the next city once they rob The Ruin. Lady Helen lets it slip that she plans to kill Turpin tomorrow, which upsets Nell.

Tommy Silversides’ Real Name Is Albert

Nell discovers the truth about Tommy Silversides from her mother. His real name is Albert Crumb, and he is an actor. This makes Honesty and Moose realize that Dick never lied and that Tommy fakes the fans, the stunts, and everything else along the way.

The crew recruits Jonathan Wilde and his son Christopher to help break Dick out of prison. After a bit of pep talk from Jonathan, he leaves the door open for Dick to break out of the prison. Unfortunately for Jonathan and Christopher, Dick accidentally closes the door on his way out, leaving them stuck in the cell.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin ends with a rematch between Tommy Silversides and Dick Turpin

Turpin has arrived for a rematch against Tommy Silversides. Lady Helen reminds Silversides that he can’t lose this fight with him. Turpin breaks down that the Essex Gang took out Tommy’s sharpshooters, robbers, and anyone else prepared to help him, making the fight with one another fair. The dual begins, and Tommy runs for the hills. Dick wins.

Lady Helen says she must take things into her own hands and pulls the gun on Dick. However, Nell steps up in front of Dick, saying she won’t allow her to shoot him. Lady Helen says if she picks him, this will make them enemies and she will take her down later, and Nell stands her ground. After Lady Helen leaves, Dick’s dad arrives to tell him he is proud of him.
