After the latest episode, Palm Royale is going to take a turn. From deaths to financial ruin to blackmail and potential legal repercussions for all of the above, the house of cards that is Palm Beach high society cannot stay upright much longer, and it might be Episode 7 where it all begins to come tumbling down.
Maxine Will Embrace Her Role As the New Norma
Episode 6 ended with Maxine sending out Norma’s handwritten blackmailing invitations to the Beach Ball, muttering “I am somebody” all the while. She’s becoming the new Norma.
I think the cruel irony of this development is that she will turn on Robert as part of her arc, which is a shame since it was him who compelled her to send the invitations in the first place, albeit as a one-off. As we also saw at the end of the latest episode, Robert is having a secret relationship with the so-called Prince of Luxembourg, and I predict that Maxine will discover this and use it to blackmail the Prince into attending the Beach Ball.
This will obviously damage her friendship with Robert, but it will likely also expose the Prince and Princess as fakes, which might also come out in the inevitable downfall of Perry and Douglas following the expose on their development project.
Will Linda Be Implicated In Skeet’s Death?
Skeet dies in Episode 6 after spending the day with Linda. They both took LSD and Skeet happily slipped away, having expressed earlier that he was ready to die anyway.
However, drugs being found in her wealthy, ill father’s bloodstream probably isn’t going to reflect well on Linda, especially not with Evelyn floating around. She’s already furious about Linda burning the contents of the Rolodex, and she took Skeet’s comments earlier as an explicit threat. I think she’ll use Skeet’s demise as a way to take revenge on Linda.

Has Douglas Been Sleeping With Mitzi?
This might be a bit outside the box, but it does seem like Douglas has been playing away with Maxine’s leggy manucurist Mitzi behind his wife’s back.
We already know about Mitzi and Perry, which Max told Dinah about in Episode 6, but based on the very brief interaction we saw between Mitzi and Douglas at the Apollo 12 party… I’m suspicious.
Why Does Norma Want A Revolver So Badly?
The sixth episode also revealed the word Norma has been trying to say for, like, two episodes now — revolver. She was finally able to make her way across the room and take one off the wall display, properly enunciating the word for the first time. But why does she want a revolver?
With Norma’s health improving, there’s a good chance she might shoot someone with it. But the likelier explanation is that the gun from the safety deposit box that Maxine dumped wasn’t the one that Linda tried to shoot Evelyn with and that the revolver on the wall was the offending weapon.
Linda was happy to hear that the gun had been disposed of, but Maxine never described it to her. She might not be as safe as she thinks.

Episode 7 of Palm Royale is scheduled to be released on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. The release time is 3 AM EST. Episode 6 is titled “Maxine Bags A Prince” and will have a runtime of 52 minutes.
