‘Prime Target’ Episode 6 Recap – This Is The Most Ridiculous Show Ever

February 19 2025

It's remarkable quite how bad Prime Target is, especially since it'd be easy to make it riveting.

‘The Hunting Party’ Season 1, Episode 3 Recap – Things Are Improving A Little Bit

February 18 2025

On balance, Episode 3 of The Hunting Party is the best one yet, in large part because it seems to understand that everything involving the Pit and its secrets is significantly more interesting than the actual case-of-the-week plotting.

Paradise Season 1, Episode 6 Recap – Xavier Turns the Tables On Sinatra In Another Thrilling Chapter

February 18 2025

At first glance, Paradise becomes a very different show in Episode 6, “You Asked for Miracles”. This is the first time Xavier – or anyone, for that matter – has been able to successfully turn the tables on Sinatra.

‘Watson’ Season 1, Episode 2 Recap – Is This a Detective Show Or A Medical Drama?

February 17 2025

Episode 2 of Watson is about a guy who thinks he’s someone else, which is pretty apt since this is a show that can’t seem to decide what it is.

‘The White Lotus’ Season 3, Episode 1 Recap – Another Trip to Paradise Commences

February 17 2025

The White Lotus isn’t getting predictable, but it is getting more familiar, which you can tell writer/director Mike White is playing with intentionally in Season 3.

‘When the Stars Gossip’ Episode 14 Recap – This Is Spectacularly Rubbish TV

February 16 2025

The weekly death of When the Stars Gossip is becoming quite a thing to behold, with Episode 14 hammering yet another nail into the coffin of a woeful drama that has, through sheer force of its ineptitude, begun tanking the South Korean TV market altogether.

‘Mayfair Witches’ Season 2, Episode 6 Recap – An Impressive Lack Of Tension And Drama

February 16 2025

A relatively big deal was made of Rowan, Moira, Cortland, and Lark making their way to Scotland for what one assumes will be a confrontation with Ian Mayfair and the rest of the pagan side of the family.

‘When the Stars Gossip’ Episode 13 Recap – A Show Trying (And Failing) To Justify Its Continued Existence

February 15 2025

I’m not exactly a soothsayer, but as soon as When the Stars Gossip returned to Earth, I just knew it had nowhere else to really go.

‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 Premiere Recap – We’re Not Off to the Best of Starts

February 15 2025

Are we being lured into a false sense of security? That’s the vibe I get from the Season 3 premiere of Yellowjackets, which debuts in Episodes 1 & 2 with the vibe of a soft reboot after Season 2 went a little off the rails.

‘Severance’ Season 2, Episode 5 Recap – Things Are Starting to Feel a Little Sinister

February 14 2025

If there’s a word to describe Episode 5 of Severance Season 2, it’s probably “sinister”. This isn’t entirely new for the show – the previous episode ended with someone almost being drowned in an icy river – but it usually comes in fits and starts.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6 Part 3 Ending Explained – As Perfect An Ending As We Could Have Hoped For

February 13 2025

Ending a show is no easy feat, and ending a beloved, long-running show is harder still. It brings me enormous pleasure to report, then, that Cobra...

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6, Episode 14 Recap – The Finals Turn Explosive (Literally)

February 13 2025

The final episodes of Cobra Kai Season 6 have been surprisingly light on karate, but Episode 14, "Strike Last", makes up for that tenfold with not one but two bouts to determine the male and female champions of the Sekai Taikai.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6, Episode 13 Recap – William Zabka Absolutely Steals the Show

February 13 2025

It was always a double-edged sword bringing the original cast of The Karate Kid back for Cobra Kai. Sure, it makes a lot of sense, but these weren't exactly award-winners at the time, and you can't say their careers took off wildly between the late '80s and the show's debut in 2018.

‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6, Episode 12 Recap – It’s All Coming Full Circle

‘Prime Target’ Episode 5 Recap – Who’d Have Thought A Show About Math Could Be This Dumb?

February 12 2025

If nothing else, Prime Target has a sense of irony about it. The Apple TV+ "thriller" has been dumb from the beginning, but it is perhaps the most stupid in Episode 5, "House of Wisdom", which is the closest Season 1 has come to a joke.

‘Poppa’s House’ Episode 11 Recap – A Brilliant Case Study Of Why This Show Sucks

February 11 2025

If you asked me to design an episode of Poppa's House that perfectly exemplified all of the show's myriad issues, it'd look a lot like Episode 11, "Dirty Laundry".
