Romey Norton joined Ready Steady Cut in June 2021 as a Senior Staff Writer. When she’s not on a hike or practicing yoga, she writes reviews and feature content for film, TV, reality shows, Stand-up Comedy, and documentaries.

With a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Leeds in 2017 and acting experience on screen, Romey uses her film knowledge to bring informative and detailed content for online publications and podcasting.

Romey also writes for Film Focus and, in late 2023, became the host of Creative Chronicles, which provides weekly entertainment news for their listeners. She is also the Head of Detail for the communications company Wordsmiths Unlimited, where she leads editorial projects.

Romey’s talents continue as Romey has an acting portfolio, appearing in various television adverts, starring in the weekly TV show Emmerdale, and starring in films such as My Dad’s Christmas Date.

Her favorite things to watch are documentaries and procedural dramas.
