I mentioned last week that Suits LA felt like it was over. The end of Lester’s trial had a climactic feeling to it.

It’s genuinely impressive how The Hunting Party keeps adapting its formula each week. Episode 9 continues a run of great form by finding another novel take on the procedural format while also making ground in the macro plot and Shane’s personal backstory.

I was surprised to learn that Suits LA still has another four episodes to go, since it really felt like it ended in Episode 6.

The Hunting Party is getting rather good, isn't it? I love watching the trajectory of a show in real-time; the so-so episodes when it's figuring out what works (and what doesn't), and then the better ones when it finds its feet and focus.
