I don't know if someone at Apple TV+ is trying to subtly tell us something, but it's a bit of a coincidence that two very different shows are both releasing episodes revolving around AI on the same day.

"Circus" is a very good episode of Slow Horses, in all the ways we've come to expect. It's laugh-out-loud funny in places, effectively tense in others, and moves along at a real clip.

DMV turns up the heat in Episode 2, both literally and otherwise. "Stay in Your Lane" is a significantly more chaotic episode than the premiere was.

Not to say I told you so, but, well, I told you so. It isn’t like Gen V Season 2 had been especially subtle about what was really going on with Cipher and Thomas Godolkin, but it’s nice that Episode 7 clarifies it – and with immediately chilling effect.

A culture is defined by the stories it tells, so I’m not sure what it has to say about our current climate that you can’t turn the TV on these days without having to endure something about influencers.

The thing about Loot, which remains as true in Season 3 as it was in the previous two, is that it’s funny enough to not really need much of a plot.
