Summary
Marianne Season 1, Episode 4, “Beautiful Moment” shows Marianne growing stronger, and Emma having little time to grieve.

Emma (Victoire Du Bois) is heartbroken at the start of Episode 4. The Netflix series so far has put up a wall for her, but after the murder of her mother, she is devastated. Marianne enters the next phase, where Emma has to accept the experiences and take it on. But before that, there is a funeral. Afterwards, her friends make dinner and comfort her.
Unfortunately, Emma’s grieving is cut short by an urgent request as the inspector visits. He lets her know that Mrs. Daugeron (Caroline’s mother) is now blind and in her report, she says that Marianne controlled her. Mrs. Daugeron tells Emma that Marianne is linked to her somehow and she must be stopped. The inspector and Emma team up.
Inspector Ronan is keen to learn about the demonic symbols. He goes to meet the priest, who threatens him after he grabs the Elden reports. Pat lets the Inspector know that the reoccurring symbol is known as the emblem, the seal of hell by a demon called Beleth.
After a nightmare, Emma receives a call. Seby’s baby is coming. Due to her nightmare, she freaks out, claiming the baby should not be allowed into this world. Seby suddenly comes out and announces that he is a Dad.
Marianne is still haunting Emma and shows her the hole, asking if she wants to play a game. Marianne attacks Tonio near the harbor and terrorizes Aurore. Marianne turns up at the hospital to see Seby’s baby. The baby screams, and when Seby reaches the baby room, his child is gone.
Marianne Season 1, Episode 4, “Beautiful Moment” is a turning point in the Netflix series, as Marianne grows stronger.
Author’s Notes
- In a nightmare, Sophie, Seby’s wife, gives birth. The electricity briefly goes down as she pushes a demon out of her body, leaving her dead.
- Aurore confides in Emma about how her parents were lovely to her when younger.
- The Inspector reads a record from Church about Marianne. She took her children to Horne Woods but returned home on her own and killed her husband.
