Episode 8 starts in ferocious spirits; Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) marches to BIONA with one intention only — getting her son back. When she finally gets there and causes a scene, Suzanne meets with her and justifies the reason why they needed Dion. They need to monitor Dion, with the storms seemingly drawn to him. In an emotional plea, Nicole makes a trade; Mark’s data with all the analysis of his DNA for the release of her son. Apparently, BIONA can contain him due to disease control protocols.
“ISSUE #108: You Won’t Like Him When He’s Angry” analyses the data and learns that Dion’s powers overwhelm him — healing someone could kill him.
With Dion back at home, school is now an issue. Nicole needs someone to help Dion feel protected at school, so she enlists Charlotte to support him using her power of invisibility. While Dion enjoys school, Nicole resumes her normal life like nothing has happened, dancing with Rashad, the tension sky-high.
Later, Charlotte finds out that the storms are not random and that they are in fact hunting them all. Nicole kindly tells Charlotte that she is family, and wants her to teach Dion how to survive.
Raising Dion Season 1, Episode 8, “ISSUE #108: You Won’t Like Him When He’s Angry” ends with a game-changing twist to the story — Pat sees Nicole and Rashad dancing and assumes the worst — that she is dating someone. After she finishes dancing, Pat confronts Nicole about it, claiming that she uses him because he is nice, and needs him for Dion. The conversation is upsetting for both characters, and it quickly turns into a heated argument. Nicole tells him to stay away from Dion. As Charlotte takes Dion home, Pat tries to see him, but Charlotte keeps him away. Pat coldly says “I should have killed you” and turns into a storm and tries to kill Charlotte.
With all the headaches that Pat has been experiencing and his clinginess to Nicole and Dion, I really should have seen this twist coming from a mile away
