Summary
Servant Season 1, Episode 3, “Eel” delves into Leanne’s potential past, as Dorothy’s brother takes it upon himself to investigate with a private detective.

As Episode 3, “Eel” opens, Sean (Toby Kebbell) sneaks out to meet Julian and a private detective. They have little information on Leanne Grayson and they ask Sean for a positive ID. Sean takes a photo of Leanne while she sleeps.
Thank God no-one caught him.
The next day, Sean preps food for a catering event and Leanne is traumatized by how they killed the eels. It was filmed with detail, whacking the eel on the kitchen top before shredding its skin while it still wriggles — Leanne fainted. Meanwhile, Julian and the detective head to Wisconsin.
They learn that at the Grayson house there was a destructive fire. They look inside and it smells awful. On the wall in the live video streamed to Sean; he noticed there is a handmade cross on the wall. The same crosses Leanne has been making.
A worried Sean pays off his culinary chef to watch the house while he goes out on a date with Dorothy. While Dorothy and Sean go out, Leanne applies lipstick and asks Toby (the culinary chef) to have a drink with him. They drink red wine together and then she suggests they eat. Leanne kills the remaining eel, copying off the technique from earlier.
Julian shows up and throws Toby out. He drinks wine with her and asks her questions. At one point he says, “If you want to get to Dorothy, you are going to have to go through me”. Leanne asks him if he was there the day it happened — I assume he is on about when Jericho died. Against the kitchen top, Dorothy gropes Julian’s crotch. He breathes heavily, and then Dorothy and Sean return home which stops anything from progressing.
Servant Season 1, Episode 3, “Eel”, ends with Julian showing Sean a video of a cemetery. The entire Grayson family is dead, including Leanne. Julian believes this is a case of stolen identity. Later that night Sean tends to the baby to settle him, and he sits there, in deep thought.
