Narcos: Mexico Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Félix goes to prison to meet Neto. Neto has heard about Zuno and the trouble at the plazas and predicts that Félix will be done soon. Neto recommends that Félix hands himself to the Americans. After his brief chat with Neto, Guerra asks Félix if he knows about one of Matta’s planes getting shot down. Félix asks the question of whether he should contact someone from the CIA, which I even felt was an opportunistic reach.
Why is Zuno getting interviewed by the DEA?
Meanwhile, following on from the last episode, Zuno is getting interviewed by the DEA. Zuno claims the ministry of defence is part of the schemes. Zuno has seemingly given up everything and it is time to go to the grand jury.
Deals are developing underhand away from Félix in Episode 4, “The Big Dig”. Isabella meets Enedina and tells her she needs to shift some coke. Isabella claims Félix is done due to the death of the DEA agent and offers to secure Enedina’s future. Enedina coldly rejects her offer, but you can tell this is not over.
While Félix is saving his future, Chapo has bought a few warehouses and tells Cochi he is going to build a few tunnels to protect them from authorities. One of the tunnels starts to collapse on the first attempt, with someone dying in the process.
What happened between Félix and the CIA?
Félix enters what looks like a U.S. camp and he is asked to go on a plane if he wants to talk to a U.S. contact. Despite the hesitation, Félix enters the plane to be greeted by the CIA contact. The contact says that Félix has made dinner talk in D.C.
Félix wants to offer the man something but in a shocking moment, Félix realises the man wants to fly him back to the states. Félix panics and insists the CIA contact opens the case. In the case are maps with routes where they can transport the arms program.
Félix explains that he will help them get their guns and money — new routes, new airstrips: “No Matta, no problem”. As part of the deal, he wants the CIA to deal with the DEA.
Félix is a sneaky individual, seemingly snaking his way out of bad situations.
What happened at the grand jury?
Back to the grand jury; Zuno is asked if the murder of Kiki was approved by Félix. Zuno denies this, claiming he has never met Félix. Breslin leaves the grand jury looking exhausted and angry. In an emergency meeting, Mr Kaye intervenes and congratulates Breslin.
He claims it is a big win and wants them to end the investigation. Breslin accuses Mr Kay of not giving a s***, which is met with a scathing comeback.

He asks Breslin about the house he visits and the cute kid. Calderoni wants to offer his intel and in return, Breslin would use his resources to make Félix and his men pay.
As we near the end of “The Big Dig”, Enedina catches Isabella trying to make a deal in the same town for the coke. Enedina finally agrees to move Isabella’s coke.
