Episode 8 opens up with Fabiola angry at Ada — Ada insists that Jean-Michel came on to her. The friends head to a church to pray. Carolanne sings the song she wrote and has flashbacks about Keven and the pregnancy. At work, Jean-Michel approaches Fabiola and he says he was angry because she wouldn’t let him sit with him and that he was only trying to make her jealous. He tells her he loves her and gives her a bracelet. Carolanne continues to have flashbacks about Keven and the miscarriage and keeps screaming repeatedly to let go of the memories. Two kids in the park see her.
Sweet-talker
As Ada walks out of her apartment, the landlord chases after her despite her debt being paid. He apologizes for the other day and asks if she wants to go for dinner. Ada runs off. Jean-Michel begs Fabiola again stating that he loves her more than anyone. She calls him a manipulator, a sweet-talker, and a liar and tells him that he no longer exists. Ada then heads to the bar and speaks to the barman. She raises how he always tells her how to be and that if she wants to have braids, she can have braids. He apologizes. The conversation turns to flirting and Ada admits that she feels happy around him — he says his feelings are reciprocal.

When the barman closes down the bar, the pair kiss for the first time. Meanwhile, Carolanne cannot go to sleep because her roommate is having a party. Ada stops kissing the barman as she doesn’t want to ruin it and heads home. Ada heads home happy she’s found someone she actually likes, Fabiola heads home feeling empowered for shutting down Jean-Michel and Carolanne has given up and joins her friend’s party — she’s struggling to stay sober.
