Brand New Cherry Flavor episode 7 recap
Desperate to have his son, Jonathan, back to normal, Lou hopes to give Lisa her movie back. Lisa goes through the yard, unaware that Mary is now in the milk bath, and licks a toad. A freaky looking spirit appears until Boro interrupts; “You really shouldn’t have licked my toad”. But Lisa sees a need in doing so as she hopes it will allow her to sense where her enemies (aka Lou) are. But for that to happen, Boro explains that Lisa now needs to do another ritual within six hours, or she will die. The ritual consists of two sections; sex magic and blood magic. With this being Brand New Cherry Flavor, the ritual is sure to be full of weird and sexy moments.
In terms of the “sex magic”, Lisa asks Roy for his help. “You scare me, Lisa” is his initial response before Lisa successfully persuades him into having sex with her. Ralph, extremely concerned that his nephew James is dead, pays a threatening visit to Christine. But when she goes to shut the door on him, he barges through and punches her. He then demands that she takes him to James.
With the state of Lou’s eye beginning to decay, he goes to Boro’s yard, which he where he finds Mary soaking in the milk bath. Whilst having sex, Lisa and Roy are too high to notice that Boro soaks up some of Lisa’s sweat with a sponge. But after performing the “sex magic”, Boro tells Lisa that she must now consume the flesh of someone in their prime.
With no choice, Christine takes Ralph to James’s body. After telling him that Lisa is to blame, it’s not shown what he does next. Although considering that he’s just found out that his nephew is dead, I don’t think things are looking good for Christine. Lou takes the undead Jonathan to a restaurant they’d visited in the past. But no amount of family photos will cure Jonathan. It turns more tragic when Lou accidentally tears a large chunk of skin from Jonathan’s hand.
Back in Lisa’s apartment, Boro prepares Lisa’s meal, which consists of an omelette made up of Code’s ear and Lisa’s sweat. But before Lisa can tuck in, Alvin knocks on her door. He wants to meet about making her movie, this time without Lou’s involvement. Seeing as Lisa is quite busy, she makes arrangements to meet Alvin tomorrow.
The ending
With James on his way to kill Lisa, the spirit attacks Boro. To save her own life, Lisa goes against Boro’s previous request and goes down the trapdoor. Inside, she finds the sofa. The sofa that the jaguar had gotten turned into it. The sofa warns Lisa that Boro will betray her; but adds that without Lisa, Boro is weak. Finally, the sofa leads Lisa to a hotel key labelled 13 Bel Air.
Exiting through a pink door, Lisa is now outside, where Roy drives up in a limo. Before much can occur between the pair, Ralph starts shooting at them.
