Locke & Key season 2, episode 7 recap
After Erin’s death gets quickly forgotten, Kinsey and Scot nearly share a kiss when Kinsey tells Scot that she doesn’t want to be “just friends” anymore. Duncan, however, interrupts with the knowledge that they’ll be going against Gabe. But once Duncan has gone, Kinsey and Scot kiss. This is a moment that many fans will love to watch!
Shortly afterward, Gabe and Eden arrive at the Keyhouse. With help from Jamie and the miniature dollhouse, Bode traps Eden inside of a large glass. But as Eden begins to smash her way out of the glass, Gabe realizes that a trap has been set. Meanwhile, Jamie is forced to switch off the miniature dollhouse when her father, Josh, has her play with something else. Bad news for the Lockes, good news for Gabe.
With the plan failing, Gabe is able to take Bode and Duncan as hostages. In an act of betrayal, Gabe kicks Eden away and leaves her trapped in the Keyhouse. Desperate to escape, Eden takes a shard of glass to Scot’s neck before she escapes the Keyhouse and drives away. Gabe tells Duncan that for him to release him and Bode, he wants Duncan to make him a new key.
To ensure Bode’s safety, Duncan makes the key. And it works! This is unfortunate for Javi, who is now under Gabe’s control and smashes his head against a wall repeatedly. Although Gabe allows Duncan and Bode to go, he has his new puppet, Javi, follow them in an attempt to kill them.
After Tyler is attacked by Javi, Kinsey fights Javi off before they grab Duncan and get in a car with Scot and Bode. The war between the Lockes and Gabe is now fully into play. Who will win?
