Netflix film Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 ending explained

This article discusses the ending of the Netflix film Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2, so it will contain major spoilers.

Following the original movie, Nobody Sleeps in the Woods (2020), it all seemed like Zosia (Julia Wieniawa-Narkiewicz) had successfully escaped from the Killer Twins, but, as they get revealed as being alive in the movie’s closing moments, it’s clear that the story was far from over.

Netflix film Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 ending explained

At the start of Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2, Zosia is in a police cell, whilst the Killer Twins are in the cell next to her. Strange. All three get seemingly ignored until rookie officer Adas (Mateusz Wieclawek) hears the story of Zosia and what happened to her in the previous movie. The officer in charge, Waldek (Andrzej Grabowski), dismisses Adas’s fears and tells him to wait for the special forces to take over the case.

But when Waldek takes Zosia back to Camp Adrenalina, that s**t really hits the fan. Zosia gets quickly infected by a meteorite and turns into a monster offscreen. As Waldek was on the toilet at that time, he is therefore helpless as a monstrous Zosia rips his legs off. As time passes, Adas grows concerned after being unable to contact Waldek. Upon voicing his concerns to colleague Wanessa (Zofia Wichlacz), they go to Camp Adrenalina, where they find Waldek’s legless body.

As Zosia becomes out of control and kills several more, Wanessa pushes Adas into Zosia as a way to make an escape for herself. Whilst Zosia turns Adas into a monster, Wanessa leaps into a van and heads back to the station, where she radios for help. Whether she’ll get some is another matter.

With Adas a fully-fledged monster, he can now communicate to Zosia in their “monster language”. Zosia explains that “now we are the bad guys, we are monsters, we kill people”. Zosia further defends her actions of murder; “Was the world ever good to you? It wasn’t good to me.” Zosia pushes Adas into his first kill, where he returns to a shop he visited earlier and stabs the aggressive owner in the eye. To celebrate his first kill, Adas and Zosia have monster sex.

Next on Zosia’s monster agenda is to free the Killer Twins and start a monster apocalypse. Whilst Adas and Zosia do free the Killer Twins, they don’t move. As Adas wonders why Wanessa reappears and shoots at them before throwing a grenade. (Although, the grenade doesn’t explode.) Adas decides to take on Wanessa, but he is unable to go through with killing her. He is much less of a monster than Zosia, who rips the skin off Wanessa’s face, before ensuring that she is dead by stomping repeatedly on her skull.

Zosia is livid that Adas was unable to kill Wanessa; “You are weak. A cheater and a liar. Think about your behavior.” He doesn’t have long to think about it, however. Almost as soon as Zosia steps outside, the special forces arrive and run Zosia over. With a body barely left behind, Adas gets captured whilst the grenade finally goes off and blows up the police station. Are the Killer Twins dead? Personally, I don’t think so and they’ll reappear in a third movie.

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 concludes with Adas getting painfully tested on by scientists in protective gear.
