Summary

Want blood, gore, and shocking scenes? Then watch Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2. The strange horror movie is weird yet original, with an unexpected twist that makes the bizarre film even more so.

This review of Netflix film Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 does not contain spoilers.

Reading the ending explained.

The polish made film Nobody Sleeps in The Woods follows the final girl Zosia (Julia Wieniawa) after she survived monster Killer Twins in the first film. But with nervous and frightened rookie officer Adas (Mateusz Wieclawek) on hand to help, can either of them survive what the Killer Twins may have in store?

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 starts directly after the conclusion of the first. But even without watching the first, I would imagine that it’s fairly easy to pick up on the story. Mainly because the film starts slow, with plenty of time to digest what occurred in the previous film, which was originally released in 2020.

Once it gets going, it appears to be heading in a similar direction as most monster horror films. But one shocking development towards the end of act two really switches the film upside down. The results bring levels of originality that sometimes is lacking in horror films. It’s a different kind of horror film, that with the right kind of audience could gain a cult following.

If you’re squeamish, even just a little, I wouldn’t recommend watching Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2. The scenes can be extravagantly gory and could easily make your stomach turn. This is not gore like the Saw franchise, this goes a lot further. In terms of the effects, they’re great! Even though it’s just a film, it’s hard to believe that it’s not real body parts that are torn apart. The 18 certificate is well justified for this film, where even grown adults may be questioning how some shots/scenes made it onto the film.

Whether you watched the first one or not, Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight 2 is still heaps of fun to watch. And whilst it may leave you feeling disturbed, it might just have you wanting more.
