The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is a murder mystery, and as expected, there are plenty of deaths! Read below for a list of the key deaths that occur!
Who died in the Netflix series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window?
Elizabeth
Although Elizabeth dies before the present timeline, her death is a major presence throughout. The daughter of Anna and Douglas, Elizabeth dies when after going to a “take your child to work” day, is killed and eaten by Massacre Mike. Yikes.
Lisa
This is the death at the center of the mystery. Lisa gets stabbed in the neck by Neil’s daughter Emma after she refuses to buy her some chocolates. Although Anna only partially witnesses some of the murder and therefore sets Anna on a mission to solve and prove who killed Lisa.
Meredith
Neil’s pregnant wife/Emma’s mother. Although Anna originally suspects Neil of murdering his wife, it later becomes clear that Emma is the one to blame. Emma, who got angry Meredith was pregnant and therefore wouldn’t be an only child anymore, created a trap that caused Meredith to fall into a pond. And as Meredith couldn’t swim, there was nothing she could do to save herself.
Ms. Patrick
Emma’s school teacher, who Emma admits to pushing off a lighthouse. Although she was a major character, her death added more mystery and made Neil look a lot more capable of murder.
Neil
Throughout the series, Neil threatens Anna if she harms his daughter, Emma. But it turns out Emma was the one he should have been worried about. In the season finale, Emma cuts Neil’s throat as she doesn’t think his ventriloquist act is very good.
Emma
After several murders and the attempted murder of Buell, Emma finally gets stopped by Anna. Just as Emma is about to kill Anna, Anna grabs a piece of her broken casserole dish and stabs Emma in the chest.
Passenger 2A
A cameo appearance by Glenn Close ends deadly, as in the closing moments, Anna finds her dead in the airplane toilets. However, as for the people or reason behind her death, that remains a mystery.
