This article discusses whether there will be season 2 of the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty and its renewed or cancelled status.
The Afterparty is a genre-blended take that documents the murder of A-List star Xavier (Dave Franco) following a reunion that leads to an afterparty at his crib. Whilst the murder gets solved in the season finale, could there be room for more? With each episode of the eight-part series exploring different characters’ perspectives of the night of the murder, will the popular and quirky format return to our screens?
Will there be a season 2 of the Apple TV+ series The Afterparty – renewed or cancelled status
I am beyond excited to announce that there will be a season 2 of The Afterparty! The news of a second season came before the first season of mystery comedy even finished!
There hasn’t been a ton of details announced as of yet. But it got revealed that Tiffany Haddish, who plays Detective Danner, will return. Much, if not all, of the story surrounding Xavier’s death got completed in the season finale. So it wouldn’t be crazy to suggest very few characters will return. Instead, it might be that the second season will feature a new murder that Detective Danner will have to solve — wouldn’t that be great! Or could the characters from season one of The Afterparty decide to have another afterparty that results in the death of another one of their friends? That would be wild.
Keep coming back to this article, as we’ll update it with fresh information as soon as it gets released.
