This article, ”Who gets married,” contains spoilers regarding Netflix’s Bridgerton season 2.

Read the review of Bridgerton season 2.

After the overwhelming success of the first season of Bridgerton and THAT wedding, many are wondering whether there’ll be something similar that occurs in the second season. From the get-go, it looks like there’s going to be a wedding. Not only does Anthony declare that he is looking for a wife, but Edwina is named the diamond. And, so, it doesn’t take long before the two begin to court, and he asks Edwina for her hand in marriage.

The only problem? Anthony is actually in love with her sister Kate. Regardless, Anthony remains engaged to Edwina, even after he discovers that her family is facing financial ruin. Before long, the day of the wedding arrives, and despite Kate and Anthony’s feelings for each other, Anthony moves forward with his plan to marry Edwina. But does it actually go ahead?

Who gets married in Bridgerton season 2?

Once at the alter, Edwina realizes that Anthony and Kate have feelings for each other, and she runs out of the church before anyone can say “I do”. So does that mean that no one gets married in Bridgerton season 2? Not exactly. Following Kate’s near-death experience, Edwina provides Kate and Anthony with her blessing for their relationship to move forward.

After a dance at the Fatherington Ball, Kate and Anthony publically give in to their feelings for each other. Cut to six months later, and Kate and Anthony have got married. And there you go! Whilst the second season of Bridgerton didn’t actually show any weddings, successful ones anyway, the show makes it clear in the finale that Kate and Anthony have got married in the time jump. In the end, it seems to be that those that were meant to be together, get together.
