The Terminal List is an action-thriller series based on the best-selling book series by Jack Carr. Two principal characters are the immediate family of Lt. Commander James Reece. Lauren and Lucy Reece. They are played by Riley Keough and Arlo Mertz (Mank). Ms. Keough, The Lodge and Under the Silver Lake star, plays his wife Reece, and Ms. Mertz plays his nine-year-old daughter. While necessary, often referred to, both characters are primarily on-screen in Reece’s flashbacks and hallucinations. Paid sicarios kill them at the end of the first episode, which is the main character’s motivation to seek revenge. Reece uses the last picture his daughter drew to write down the names of the people responsible on his terminal list.

Lauren and Lucy Reece are the immediate family members of Lt Commander Reece.
What do Lauren and Lucy Reece Do?
They are the loving family of Reece, who has been deployed for much of his young daughter’s life. They buy a house. Both are often seen in flashbacks. Some are of Reece and Lauren starting their lives together. For instance, he finds out he has a child on the way. When they buy their first home. Often he ruminates over regrets. Like the one with his wife, upset that he is taking another tour. Lucy is often seen in memories that play out differently every time Reece thinks about it. That recurring daydream is of a starling crashing into their plate glass window and Reece repeatedly explaining death to his daughter in a different way.
The scenes tell you a different perspective of Reece’s regrets. One scene has him sugarcoating it, but Lauren tells him to be straight with her and tell her the truth. The last scene of them in the finale has a heartfelt message of Reece explaining how he may not come back from a mission, but he will always be alive inside her, and he refers to their hearts.
