Summary
Overall, it’s a decent watch. And Fabulous Live of Bollywood Wives season 2 is on a level with some other similar shows.
This review of the Netflix reality series The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 2 does not contain any spoilers.
If you enjoyed season one of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, you’ll love season two just as much. There’s plenty of drama. And it’s fun to see Seema Khan, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, and more once again. As previously stated (and expected in a reality show), there’s drama after drama for the Bollywood wives. But more importantly, there’s laughter along the way. The arguments may be fun to watch. But it’s the funny moments that may help the audience stay with the show.
With eight episodes (much like the first season), they range from 30 to 41 minutes in length. Along the way, you will witness the Bollywood wives talk about menopause, their children, arranged marriages, money and more. It’s nice to see a reality show focus on Bollywood rather than just the typical high life in America. Other shows may not cover some of the subjects that this show does, which is a massive tick for Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
But, as I similarly stated in my review for Buy My House, could the timing of the show mean it gets buried under the carpet? With so many rising bills, people struggling with the cost of living, and many more having to cut back, do the audience really want to have other people’s wealth and fortune shoved in their faces? And based on the response to the first season, in which some saw the show as nothing more than the cast using it to brag about their lives, it seems that many more could share this thought.
If you’re after conflict, drama, and laughter, watch the show. But if you want to avoid people showing off their lifestyles, skip the show.
