The ending of Monica, O My Darling is rather complex, as many people end up dying in the midst of trying to kill Monica. Gaurav ends up killing Dev, and Satyanarayan throws Faridi under the bus in order to save Jayant’s career.
When Shalu learns about this, she actually accuses Jayant of killing Dev. He needs to clear his name and tries to go elsewhere, but Tamang tries to stop Jayant from going any higher on the board of directors.
After finding out that Tamang committed another crime, Jayant calls in the police, and ACP Naidu hints that the woman suffering from cataracts is Monica’s killer. They were able to smell the perfume that was similar to hers in order to match the suspect with the murderer.
This all stems from the father of Monica’s baby and there were multiple, that’s why the blackmail and the suspects came from all sides. Tamang, Jayant, and Satyanarayan all had cause to go after her, and she had been trying to lock down at least one of them to help with the expenses of having a child.
Everyone became involved, but only one person managed to kill her, and it was Tamang, who put snake venom in her drink. All this happened for the men to move up in the board of directors, and one woman ended up controlling them all.
