9. Kaguya-Sama Love is War: Ultra Romantic (2022)

While the entire Love is War series is highly regarded among fans, season 3 is one of the best seasons of romantic comedy anime viewers have gotten in recent years. In this hilarious series, student council members Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya refuse to acknowledge the chemistry that’s right in their faces. It’s not that they do not have feelings for one another.

It’s quite the opposite, in fact, but they each refuse to be the ones to confess first in fear of “losing” in the relationship. It makes for some hilarious antics and awkward encounters as viewers watch them try to force others to admit their feelings first.

MAL Score: 9.04

8. Hunter x Hunter (2011)

This fan-favorite action series follows 12-year-old Gon on his mission to become a hunter in hopes it may eventually lead to him finding his mysterious father. However, no one could’ve prepared him for all the danger that comes after.
