At the end of episode eight, Crash Course in Romance took viewers to the halfway mark with the revelation that Su-hui has now caught Chi-yeol (Jung Kyung-ho) and Haeng-seon (Jeon Do-yeon) together. Of course, just this sight alone isn’t enough to verify that any private tutoring is involved, but with the two likely flustered, it won’t be long until that admission comes. Either that or the pairing try and pass off that they’re a couple (which seems highly unlikely). As such, Hae-e’s academia may be threatened, as both Su-a (Kang Na-eon) and Su-hui will be determined to do anything required to stop this private tutoring arrangement. How things end up properly unfolding though, is another matter entirely.
Elsewhere, Chi-yeol has become aware that Haeng-seon is the daughter of the woman who used to regularly take care of him with free meals. This stoked a realization in the star tutor as to why he’s only able to eat food from Nation’s Best Banchan and has started to make him question whether he might in fact have feelings for the auntie of Hae-e. Given his attachment to the family, which saw him leave his date’s piano recital early, it looks like a confession could well be on the horizon.

Crash Course in Romance Season 1 Episode 9 will be released on Netflix on February 11, 2023. The usual time is 2:00 pm (GMT), but sometimes this varies. We do not anticipate any changes to the schedule yet (sometimes this happens in the K-Drama world.). Crash Course in Romance Season 1 Episode 10 will air at the same time the next day, February 12.
