After just two episodes, there’s a whole lot to talk about in Divorce Attorney Shin. Most prominently, Seo-jin (Han Hye-jin), the disgraced DJ whose life took a hit upon releasing a sex tape, managed to get sole custody of her child, Hyeon-u. It came through plenty of endeavors, with Sung-han (Cho Seung-woo) utilizing a journal to prove the youngster was upset living with his father – the emotionally abusive Hee-sub (Park Jung-pyo) – and that he would prefer to stay with his mother, controversy be damned.
Of course, Seo-jin now needs to make amends to Hyeon-u, who had opened up about his pain to Attorney Shin, but inroads seem to be being made on this front. From now on, it’ll be intriguing to see how these characters continue to be used in the show, and whether Hee-sub decides to find a new reason to sue his ex-wife.
Elsewhere, Park Ae-ran is considering her options, with the constant insults and overall poor behavior of her entitled mother-in-law finally pushing the breadwinner past her limits. Things came to a head with a physical altercation in episode two, so it’ll certainly be intriguing to see how things play out on this front, and if the husband gets involved at all.
For the rest of the Divorce Attorney Shin’s ongoings, look no further:
