A potentially exciting series from India aims to join the ranks of those shows called Tooth Pari: When Love Bites.
Written and directed by Pratim D. Gupta, this supernatural affair takes the well-known blood-sucking vampires and explores what it would be like if one were compromised. Rumi breaks a cherished tooth and can’t bite down on her next meal.
This story then evolves as Rumi falls in love with her dentist Roy, with neither the human nor vampire world allowing this forbidden romance to continue.
Who is Ora in Tooth Pari: When Love Bites on Netflix?
In the underground vampire world, Ora is the head enforcer of leader Adi Deb (Adil Hussain), who helps him control the vampires and ensures they adhere to Deb’s rules and do not enter the human world. At the show’s start, Ora is in hibernation but is, of course, woken up.
Deb provides the vampires with blood, technology, and entertainment if, in return, they promise not to go around killing humans and provide him with some of their blood, which allows him to develop the drug Hemalin.
Ultimately, Ora is pivotal in continuing the romance between Rumi and her dentist Roy.
Who plays Ora in Tooth Pari: When Love Bites?
Anish Railkar plays the deadly enforcer. Railkar is a relatively new face, only 18 years old. Born to a low-income family in Maharashtra, he found fame through India’s best Dramebaaz talent show.
He has been cast in the upcoming movie Swatantra Veer Savarkar, though details about the role Railkar will be playing haven’t been released.
What is Tooth Pari: When Love Bites about?
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites is an eight-episode drama about rebellious vampire Rumi (Tanya Maniktala) who breaks one of her teeth during a hunt and is forced to visit dentist Dr. Roy (Shantanu Maheshwari) to help repair it.
There, she falls in love with him, but they have to fight to stay together as human and mystical forces attempt to keep them apart.
