We discuss whether there will be a Season 2 of the Netflix series Tooth Pari and its renewed or canceled status. This article discusses spoilers.
The first season of Tooth Pari: When Love Bites has become a total hit on Netflix as two worlds collide. When a rebellious vampire with a broken tooth falls for a shy dentist on the streets of Kolkata, human and mystical forces keep them apart.
Like many supernatural stories, vampires often fall in love with people they’re not supposed to fall in love with; humans. This works so well because of the comedic elements of losing a tooth and falling in love with a dentist as a vampire.
It has a relatively high rating on IMDB, so it’ll be interesting to see if it will gain enough traction for season two.
Will there be a Season 2 of Tooth Pari – renewed or canceled status
There is no exact release date, but given the track record over at Netflix, if it does well, we can bank on a season two being announced shortly. That being said, it would be around the 2-year mark when season two could possibly come out because of how long it takes to film something supernatural like this.
At the end of season one, Rumi and Roy agree to a mind wipe so they don’t have to suffer for their relationship. Roy had to struggle with deciding whether or not he would want to give up his mortality to become a vampire all season. So because Rumi loves him so much, the mind wipe is the best she could do. It’s also easier to forget about the love you did have for someone.
However, in the final moments of season one, we see that Roy and Rumi meet again in the same way, and Rumi’s fangs show up as Roy tends to her teeth. They both have a smile on their face showing that they remember.
The following season has an endless list of things to explore. In this season, Rumi had conversations about shifting their base to another location.
Vampires and humans in the same area will always be a cause for alarm, so they have to find a way to live in unity next season. New vampire hunters could rise in season two with new technology to fight the vampires.
Knowing all of this, it could be cool to have a civil war between humans and vampires, with the child of Rumi and Roy putting a stop to all the fighting.
