Some book adaptations are well-made, and The Summer I Turned Pretty is one of them. Everyone wants a summer romance, and author Jenny Han wrote a series filled with so much romance. She claims that everything magical happens between June and August.

Nothing says a summer romance like a love triangle between one girl and two brothers. It’s a series about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer. It does play on the friends-to-lovers trope, and the reason it works is because of the chemistry between the leads.

The series listed below all have some romance, whether it’s awkward first love or weird relationships, you find yourself stuck in. The series on this list have all taught teenagers valuable lessons for many years, and they’re always rewatchable.
