FUBAR Season 1 Episode 8 Recap

The episode begins with Emma and Boro underground about to battle with one another. Unfortunately, the fire is getting out of control, and Emma mentions they must work together to get out of it.

Although he doesn’t trust her, he knows they will die if they don’t get out. She agrees that once they are out, they will fight another day. Luke is hunting around the wreckage to find Emma. His boss gives him orders of 12 minutes to find her, or he must leave, but he has other plans.

Underground, Roo is having a hard time making the incision on Aldon to save his life, but the Doc walks her through it, making it happen.

While that is happening, Emma and Boro have some words while she awaits Luke making a move to get them out. He makes it happen, and Emma tells Luke that she made a deal with Boro that they would get out and live to fight another day, but Luke’s boss Dot tells him in his ear not to defy an order.

Boro helps propel Emma out of the hole, and Luke is able to pull her out.

Who dies in FUBAR Season 1 Episode 8?

After getting Emma out of the hole, Luke tells Boro that he will pay for everything he does. Boro tells him that he promised to get him out and that he was like a son to him. However, Luke says he can’t let him out and chase his daughter down and runs. The nuke goes off, and an explosion happens, and Boro dies.

Everyone is back in the office now, with Emma and Luke sitting with Dot. She informs Emma that with some talk from her supervisor (Luke), she is getting a new mission and working alone. Emma mentioned that she learned much from her dad and would love to work on his team.

However, he tells her that his retirement papers are in, and he is out. Luke gets a call from his ex-wife Tally who informs him of the news that she is getting married.

The show jumps to months later on Tally’s wedding day. Then, Oscar informs everyone that he is selling his company for $4.8 million, and everyone is excited for him. Luke comes to bring some flowers to Tally, and he has some kind words for Donnie. He speaks to Tally, apologizes for everything he put her through, and says he is happy that she is happy.

Emma looks concerned and yells at Luke for hurting her again. She apologizes and says they belong together and don’t belong with Donnie.

What happens at Tally’s wedding?

Luke pleads with Tally not to marry Donnie after Emma’s speech. As he tells her the truth about being a C.I.A. agent, gunshots ensue with an attack on everyone. After Luke thinks everything is taken care of, Boro (I guess he isn’t dead) emerges from the back with a gun to Tally’s head. He tells him the only way to break even is if Luke and Emma point the gun at each other and pull the trigger.

As they do, Tally stabs Boro with the medallion Luke gave her earlier, and they put about twenty shots into Boro, killing him for good.

FUBAR Season 1 Ending Explained

As FUBAR Season 1 ends, The C.I.A. calls Luke to inform him their covers have been blown, and they send in a van to get everyone out of there. As they get out of dodge, Luke and the entire crew inform Tally that everyone, including Roo, Barry, and Aldon, is a member of the C.I.A., and with their covers blown, they have to get out of dodge. The season ends with Luke saying, “It’s totally FUBAR.”
