At the end of episode 14 of Doctor Cha, Jeong-suk was seen going dizzy, and then coughing up blood. The natural conclusion to draw from this is that the resident hasn’t been taking care of her health (there’s been enough foreshadowing about it in the last couple of installments), and as a result has liver problems again.
Whether these problems will be gravely serious, though, remains to be seen. But, with just two episodes remaining, realistically it will be something that causes Jeong-suk to reflect on her life, and make the all-important decision on whether she wishes to pursue a divorce with In-ho, or look towards a new life. Judging by how the scene is being set, the latter option certainly seems the most likely.
Elsewhere, Seung-hi has nicely developed in the past couple of episodes. She forgave I-rang for injuring Eun-seo, admitted to Jeong-suk the two have harmed their children too much during this affair, and put aside personal grudges to go above and beyond for Deok-rye. If Seung-hi can now ditch In-ho too, she will most likely be somewhat redeemed going into the finale.
For the rest of the Doctor Cha ongoings, look no further:
- Jung-min has decided to enlist in the military, to reflect on his life choices.
- Deok-rye was successfully treated, and able to live freely again.
- Roy Kim met his family, but it didn’t go well, for they appear to just want to use his medical expertise.
- Mi-hee is encouraging Jeong-suk to pursue Roy Kim after her divorce.
- Jeong-suk has given In-ho her divorce application.

- Seung-hi will opt against a relationship with In-ho, and favour heading to America for a new life alongside Eun-seo.
- I-rang will be accepted into art school, and likewise Jung-min into the military.
- Jeong-suk will have to decide whether or not to continue her residency, given her age and health issues.
- Roy Kim will reject his biological family’s request, not wanting to be used by them after so long.
- Roy Kim, spurred on by this decision, will confess to Jeong-suk.

I have watched and enjoyed the show Dr Ch. but this last episode. Dressing her up like a biker chick. That was so dumb. Writers give her head a shake. Ugh
